Brian Bourassa Such a duality of Beauty and sadness. Though not a traditional ambient sound, it is a truly riveting and captivating work.

There are fleeting moments where I am reminded of Samuel Barber's Adagio for Strings. Favorite track: An Index Of Forgotten Memories.

Recorded sporadically between 2005 and 2006, this "classical ambient" album features prominent violin and cello melodies over orchestral ambient beds. Flourishes of occasional piano and swathes of deep drone resonance contribute to a soothing but melancholy listening experience. Intended for low-volume playback whilst performing daily duties, or as a sleep aid during the late hours of a moonlit night.

Listening back to this release after almost 10 years there are elements that I feel could be remixed/edited, however, in the spirit of not looking back it is available for free (or name your price) as originally recorded.
